1 structure and function

4.5bar/3barPolyol and isocyanate material tanks that working pressure-exceeding is 4.5bar is a double-wall tank, there have top cover of flange and three-legged supporting connect to the shell, also include in and out joint of heating/cooling water and 3 bar hydraulic safety valve of cooling water.

A. Material tank top cover

11/2/1254.5bar Have agitator that rotate with low speed on the top cover, the agitator consists of electric motor equipped with speed reducer, axis and blade. There has joint of 3/2 inch for installing temperature sensor, min /max level meter equipped with contact point, component circumfluence pipe that extend to bottom, joint used for material charging pipeline, manual charging mouth of 125mm diameter; automatic controlling pressure relief valve equipped with pressure gauge and safety valve connect with compressed air adjustment unit . Besides there equipped one 4.5 bar safety valve connect with a overflow pipe.

B. material tank bottom

Material tank bottom equipped with out elbow, screw component-conveying pipe in and connect ball valve by this elbow.

C. Material tank wall

Material tank wall has two pipes for connecting the cooling system of spiral pipe as additional port of temperature of raw material.

2 debugging and start

When recharging material, prohibit mess the components


3 material charging

It has two types: automatic and manual. Automatic part consists of charging valve and one-way valve.

Adjust the oil level open-close point when charging material.

20mmCharge material to max preset value. Use absolute cleaning material; it is better to make the material through the screen. There has 20mm between the max level position and flange.

Close material charging mouth and clear all component residual liquor that splash outside.

2-3bar 1bar.Raise the tank pressure to 23 bar, adjust the pressure relief valve of compressed air, and set the tank working pressure (the max pressure difference between the polyol and isocyanate tank can not exceed 1bar).

Open ball valve at the outlet of material tank

When recharge or replace material, relief pressure before opening material tank, only screw air relief valve.

Exclude all residual material out by rise tank pressure.

The filter at the bottom finishes draining work.


4 proceeding attention

Installation, testing, acceptance and inspection timely of material tank should accord to relative rules and laws.

4.5bar. Too more material, component will flow outside. For safety factor, check and change safety valve if necessary (4.5bar). The pressure-reducing unit may have contamination accumulation and check the safety function.


4.5barTest normal function of 4.5bar safety valve timely (better each day). Only poke the deflation rod, the air must be out with noise.

3bar Test normal function of 3-bar safety valve timely (better each day). Only rotate the red handle leftward.


Check the blue silicon glue filter fixed on the material tank. Change it when the color from blue to red (refer to chapter blue silicon glue filter). if the filter is dirty, then change the filter .


5 maintenance and control

Check the airproof situation of material tank, if necessary, changes it.

If the lubrication of driven agitator equipped with speed reducer is good.

There will be corrosion if the polyol component with water. Because there has pressure for the tank with component, we suggest check it timely.

Otherwise, add anti-corrosion dosage into temperature adjusting loop. Prevent corrosion at inner bush.
